last night's last minute first friday show at The Living Room (1818 McGee, kc,mo) was fantastic. lots of great conversations and new faces. thank you to all who took a moment to gander, ask a question or voice an opinion. extra special thanks to rusty and shawnna at The Living Room for hosting me, and to those of you who purchased works. i know they have gone to good homes.

Aug 20th at the brick: the medicine theory (yes, the noise band still lives) with feral messiah.
Aug. 23rd -sept 4 at The Living Room: "this is how it goes" by neil labute, i did the poster image/design as well as the set designs.
Aug 29th at the Record Bar: roman numerals video for "this motion" debut. i created two paintings for the video and did a bit of acting in it. the paintings will be on display with performances by olympic size and roman numerals
Sept. 3rd at The Living Room: me, jodi brown and vaughn shultz will be displaying new pieces based around the idea of the story, the book, children's stories gone wrong, cautionary tales, original Grimms Tales...dark, funny, macabre works. if all goes well this will be the debut of some new sculptural, wall hanging books i've been working on. 7-10 first friday.
Sept. 7th at the riot room: the medicine theory, national rifle, and one other kc band i can't remember the name of right now. CHEAP SHOW!$5...
OCTOBER will have more of the same, i will be part of a group show at the 2631 Gallery.
