the next bit

the sale last saturday went pretty well. good people, old friends, a few less pieces i have to haul around.

now to work on the list:
puppet shows
scripts for new oil boiler collective productions (there are currently no less than five concepts and partial scripts floating around. need to do some consolidating and editing.)
new paintings
and the big focus...the october salem show.

unfortunately the venue for this years show is in flux, we're looking for a new one. but, the art for the show is starting to come together. this year will be another book concept, but more of series. the show title will be ART OVER COMMERCE and will include 3-4 'books' as accordion styled wall hangings.

this is the start of the first one entitled "My Samurai Wears Blackness Eyes"






in puppet news, i will be performing tonight at Davey's Uptown Ramblers Club in kcmo between 7-9 as part of Amy Farrand's Weirdo Wednesday Nigh Supper Club show AND this saturday (june 26) at The Living Room 1818 Mcgee, kcmo as part of the Bee's Knees Burlesque Sweet Teaser show. doors at 9, show at 930.
